Their Love For Israel

The other main reason why I am so thankful for Ma and Dan is that they instilled in me a love for Israel that is ever deepening day by day. Their love for the land of Israel and the Jewish people was so clearly evident in their lives. They've expounded in great detail by giving their time, finances, their energy and by their passionate out cry to defend the Jews. Their testimonies and Biblical teachings about why and how we should support Israel is very clear and simple; it is very thought provoking, inspiring and can also be blood boiling at the same time. Especially when we look at how the way the world has been treating the Jews not just in ancient history but in modern history up to this very day and hour. As I write this sentence, currently its being reported that the death toll of Israelis since Islamic terrorist invaded southern Israel 2 weeks ago is about 1400. From babies ripped out of the womb of a pregnant mother, to grandmothers being gunned down, women brutally raped, families burned alive in their homes as they embrace one another in terror knowing they're about to be murdered in the most cruel way without mercy in the level of brutality that surpasses that of ISIS and all other muslim Jihadists around the world.

I remember back in early 2005 I accepted a world view concerning the Jewish people and the Land of Israel through the lens of what I later on found out to be a Preteristic view. Ever since then, my mind was closed against the possibility that God had a special plan for the Jewish people in the Last Days. The gravity and seriousness of this subject is so deep that when I think about my attitude and over all wrong mentality about the Jews years ago, it has caused me to weep. When I see the news of what's been going on with the Jewish people experiencing such anguish and pain, it compells me to do whatever it takes, to go wherever God wants me to be in order to do His will to bring comfort, mercy and blessing to His precious people the children of His friend Abraham.

Can you imagine being on the wrong side of history and even worse being on the wrong side of God's Judgment concerning the Jews. It's either be blessed because we blessed the apple of His Eye the Jewish people or be on God's unmitigated divine wrath because of having the wrong spirit and attitude towards them. That is why I cannot describe the depth of my thankfulness to God and for Mama Annabelle and Dan for helping me open my eyes about how wrong I was about the Jewish people and Israel.

The most recent atrocity done to the Jewish people shook the whole world and tried many men and women's hearts. It showed who are openly compassionate and loving towards the Jews and it exposed those who are expressing their hatred for them as they side with the Islamic murderers. It is no surprise that democrats in the likes of 'the squad’ is blatantly expressing their defense and justification for Hamas and those who cries out ‘free palistine’ protesting against Israel's right to defend itself. If Ma and Dan was still around I believe they would rise up in righteous anger towards the right wing news reporters who profess to love the God of the Bible and claim to be christians but at the same time demonizing the Jews in their time of suffering. They are anti-semetic through and through. And it is a very tragic and sad situation. More than ever before, the Jewish people are so much in need of comfort and support especially from Christians whose faith came from that precious land and people. My heart is sorrowful seeing these ‘christian truth seekers' and reporters having such a very scary position and attitude against Israel. I'm grieved because I also was in a wrong spirit of ‘christianity’ so called. I was in a deep pit like these guys are right now and I know that I could've been in that same position had not been for the grace and mercy of God. Mama and Dan were such incredible help for me to see my true condition and be able to say, when I think of where God brought me from and where I am today, I am amazed at the change. I love Israel and the Jewish people today and I feel it deep in my heart. Without Ma and Dan's testimony of the love and mercy of God they walked in for the Jewish people I would still be in great delusion and miss out on this valuable treasure of loving what God loves. Especially because it brings a person, namely true Christians in a place of a ‘prophetic stream’ as Dan calls it as one embraces God's end time plan to glorify His Name in Jerusalem.

I was talking to someone the other day, I said to that person that the Jewish people are my people and the land of Israel is my land too. Ma and Dan was very inspiring concerning their love for Israel that one of the things they encouraged people to do is to go and volunteer or visit Israel and support their economy by investing in their products and services being a tourist. What friends and I did back in 2012 was to volunteer in the Israel Defense Forces for 3 weeks. It was an amazing experience helping the Israeli soldiers organize their supplies and a number of other logistic activities. I would've never landed a foot in that precious land without Mama's encouragment. I believe she went to Israel about five times or more during her christian walk. In their tender love for the Jewish people they were compelled to also share that love to others. Even though at that time my visit to Israel over ten years ago was only a mental and empty religious interest that had no depth. It was void of reality by comparison to how I feel in my heart today for the Land of the Jews where the Savior was born, died for my redemption; and I know He is coming back for a people, that is a one new man corporately made of Jews and gentiles redeemed for God and His Son. I have learned to understand that loving the Jewish people is a huge part of embracing God's divine plan and be on His side when He comes to Judge all the nations of the world and destroys all the enemies of Israel. Again I cannot help but express my deep gratitude for Ma and Dan for pointing me to these precious gems.

One of the most notable events that the family went to Israel for was to participate in the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem march. The event was a gathering of christians from various countries who show their support for Israel and uphold their existence and to pray for God's peace upon that land.
